Join us for the first of our Holiday Jubilee weekend events: a wrapping workshop!

Want your holiday packages to stand out and shine? Sometimes the answer is combining efforts and sharing resources. Bring wrapping paper, ribbons and decor to the shop and meet up with other crafters doing the same to create a buffet of wrapping options. Learn wrapping techniques for neater packages, new ways to tie ribbons, and creative ways to re-use and repurpose each year’s packages for more sustainability and less waste.

No time to wrap your own gifts this year? Drop them off and we’ll wrap them for you for a fee. Contact us at hello@craeftshop.com to schedule and discuss your needs.

WHAT TO BRING

• Boxed-up packages ready to be wrapped.

• Old wrapping paper, holiday cards, baubles, ornaments and ribbons to be used in wrapping decor and shared with the group.

WHAT WE PROVIDE

• Instruction on various wrapping techniques

• Additional materials for class use, including tools like scissors and tape.

• Holiday cookies, good vibes, tea and hot cocoa.

WHAT IT COSTS

$5 per package you intend to wrap. Minimum (registration) is $10.

WHO CAN COME

We welcome students ages 10+ to attend this workshop.

SKILLS YOU NEED

If you can pay attention, follow directions and remain quiet while the instructor talks, you should be ok. Students should feel comfortable using scissors.

Do you have a few too may skeins of yarn floating around? A color you no longer want or need, or a texture you no longer adore? Bring it for a Stash Swap as part of our Holiday Jubilee celebration at CRAEFT this season.

This is a free will exchange. You bring yarn, you leave yarn, you take yarn home.

Any unclaimed yarn at the end of the event will be donated to Ebb and Flow Fiberarts in Blue Hill.‍ ‍
